A minimalist trek into the pristine, high-altitude valley of Dzukou, a wilderness untouched by roads or electricity.
The climb is steep, following stone-cut steps through dense forest until the trees suddenly give way to the vast, undulating meadows of Dzukou. Carpeted in dwarf bamboo and cut by winding cold streams, the valley is silent. This is a journey of simple pleasures—pitching tents under a frosty winter sky, drinking hot black tea boiled over a campfire, and watching the morning sun illuminate the frozen dew on wild lilies.
